Abstract:
(EN) A substantially polyhedral liquid fuel tank comprises: a plurality of capacitive sensors for detecting the level of liquid, arranged along an edge of the fuel tank such that the capacitance of said sensors varies with the volume of fuel inside the fuel tank, comprising in particular a plurality of electrically insulating plates arranged between each of the capacitive sensors and the fuel tank, the insulating plates being made of glass fibres and the capacitive sensors being embedded in the electrically insulating plates and being produced by screen-printing on PET. Also described is a method for determining the volume of fuel, comprising: taking the readings of the capacitive sensors for detecting the level of liquid, arranged along the edges of the fuel tank; calculating the volume, corresponding to the fuel volume, of the geometric solid defined by the fuel tank and by the top fuel surface as defined by the liquid level readings from the capacitive sensors arranged along the edges of the tank.
(FR) L'invention concerne un réservoir de carburant liquide sensiblement polyèdrique, comprenant : une pluralité de capteurs capacitifs de détection de niveau de liquide, dont chacun est disposé le long d'une arête du réservoir de carburant, de manière que la capacitance desdits capteurs varie selon le volume du carburant présent dans le réservoir de carburant, et comprenant notamment une pluralité de plaques électriquement isolantes disposées chacune entre chacun des capteurs capacitifs et le réservoir de carburant, ces plaques isolantes étant constituées de fibre de verre et les capteurs capacitifs étant intégrés dans les plaques électriquement isolantes par sérigraphie sur PET. L'invention concerne également un procédé destiné à obtenir le volume de carburant, consistant : à obtenir la lecture des capteurs capacitifs de détection de niveau de liquide disposés sur les arêtes du réservoir de carburant ; à calculer le volume correspondant au carburant du solide géométrique défini par le réservoir de carburant et par la surface supérieure du carburant telle que définie par les lectures de niveau de liquide des capteurs capacitifs sur les arêtes du réservoir.
(PT) Tanque de combustível líquido substancialmente poliédrico que compreende: uma pluralidade de sensores capacitivos de deteção de nível de líquido, cada um disposto ao longo de uma aresta do tanque de combustível de forma a que a capacitância dos referidos sensores varie com o volume do combustível presente no tanque de combustível, em particular compreende uma pluralidade de placas eletricamente isolantes dispostas cada uma entre cada um dos sensores capacitivos e o tanque de combustível, sendo as placas isolantes em fibra de vidro e estando os sensores capacitivos embebidos nas placas eletricamente isolantes sendo obtidos por screen printing sobre PET. Descreve-se ainda um método para obter o volume de combustível que compreende: obter a leitura dos sensores capacitivos de deteção de nível de líquido dispostos nas arestas do tanque de combustível; calcular o volume, correspondente ao combustível, do sólido geométrico definido pelo tanque de combustível e pela superfície superior do combustível como definida pelas leituras de nível de líquido dos sensores capacitivos nas arestas do tanque.
