Abstract:
(EN) An oxidative aromatization method and systems capable of producing aromatic hydrocarbons from an alkane or mixtures of alkanes and carbon dioxide (CO2) are disclosed. Specifically, the method and systems use zeolite catalysts to catalyze the aromatization reaction of butane in the presence of CO2. The aromatization reactions provide product streams with high single pass aromatic selectivity of benzene, toluene and xylenes (BTX).
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et des systèmes d'aromatisation par oxydation aptes à produire des hydrocarbures aromatiques à partir d'un alcane ou de mélanges d'alcanes et de dioxyde de carbone (CO2). Plus particulièrement, le procédé et les systèmes utilisent des catalyseurs de zéolite pour catalyser la réaction d'aromatisation de butane en présence de CO2. Les réactions d'aromatisation fournissent des flux de produits à haute sélectivité aromatique à passage unique de benzène, toluène et xylènes (BTX).
