Title (EN) A SOLE OF A FOOTWEAR FOR REDUCING ACCIDENTAL CRUSHING OF INSECTS WHILE WALKING
(FR) SEMELLE DE CHAUSSURE POUR RÉDUIRE L'ÉCRASEMENT ACCIDENTEL D'INSECTES PENDANT LA MARCHE
Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a sole of a footwear. The sole is engraved with a plurality of cavities to configure a contacting surface. The sole may or may not include a a border. The plurality of cavities includes an inner surface. The inner surface is not in contact with the ground. The contacting surface along with border forms an outer surface that comes in contact with the ground. The border provides structural stability to the footwear. The surface area of the inner surface and the total surface area of the contacting surface along with the border are in the range of ratios between 6:4 to 8:2; thereby, reducing contact area of the sole by 60-80 percent as compared to an ordinary existing footwear. Hence, the probability of killing of insects and other organisms is decreased by 60 to 80 percent when a user walks on the ground wearing the footwear.
