Abstract:
(EN) A radio frequency (RF) signal power combiner includes an axially symmetric periodic waveguide device with a cylinder and a central conductor disposed coaxially within the cylinder. The central conductor is defined by a pair of orthogonal symmetry planes. A shorting wall closes an end of the cylinder and is electrically coupled to the central conductor. Magnetic loop coupling elements are disposed within the cylinder relative to a first symmetry plane of the pair of orthogonal symmetry planes. A plurality of input ports extend through respective openings in the shorting wall, each feeding a signal to a corresponding magnetic loop coupling element. An output port configured to output a combined power of signals from the plurality of input ports is disposed on a side of the combiner away from the shorting wall.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un combineur de signaux de radiofréquence (RF) qui comprend un dispositif de guide d'onde périodique axialement symétrique avec un cylindre et un conducteur central disposé de façon coaxiale à l'intérieur du cylindre. Le conducteur central est défini par une paire de plans de symétrie orthogonaux. Une paroi de court-circuit ferme une extrémité du cylindre et est électriquement couplée au conducteur central. Des éléments de couplage à boucle magnétique sont disposés à l'intérieur du cylindre par rapport à un premier plan de symétrie de la paire de plans de symétrie orthogonaux. Une pluralité de ports d'entrée s'étendent à travers des ouvertures respectives dans la paroi de court-circuit, chacun fournissant un signal à un élément de couplage à boucle magnétique correspondant. Un port de sortie conçu pour délivrer en sortie une puissance combinée de signaux provenant de la pluralité de ports d'entrée est disposé sur un côté du combineur à l'écart de la paroi de court-circuit.
