Abstract:
(EN) Provided are an apparatus and a method for making a strengthened glass sheet including a glass layer with a first coefficient of thermal expansion and a first non-glass surface film formed on the glass layer, wherein the first non-glass surface film has a second coefficient of thermal expansion that is less than the first coefficient of thermal expansion and a compressive stress of at least 700 MPa.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant de fabriquer une feuille de verre renforcée comportant une couche de verre disposant d'un premier coefficient de dilatation thermique et un premier film superficiel non en verre formé sur la couche de verre, le premier film superficiel non en verre disposant d'un second coefficient de dilatation thermique inférieur au premier coefficient de dilatation thermique et d'une contrainte de compression d'au moins 700 MPa.
