Abstract:
(EN) The disclosure features wireless energy transfer systems that include a plurality of sensors coupled to a controller, wherein the controller is configured to: obtain a system calibration state including a set of basis vectors derived from a first set of electrical signals generated by the plurality of sensors with no foreign object debris in proximity to the system; measure a second set of electrical signals from the sensors; calculate a projection of the second set of electrical signals onto the set of basis vectors; calculate a detection signal based on the projection; determine whether foreign object debris is present in proximity to the system by comparing the calculated detection signal to a detection threshold value; and adjust the system calibration state based on the presence or absence of foreign object debris in proximity to the system to generate an updated system calibration state.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des systèmes de transfert d'énergie sans fil qui comprennent une pluralité de capteurs accouplés à un système de commande, où le système de commande est configuré pour : obtenir un état d'étalonnage de système contenant un ensemble de vecteurs de base dérivés d'un premier ensemble de signaux électriques produits par la pluralité de capteurs sans débris d'objet étranger à proximité du système ; mesurer un deuxième ensemble de signaux électriques provenant des capteurs ; calculer une projection du deuxième ensemble de signaux électriques sur l'ensemble de vecteurs de base ; calculer un signal de détection en fonction de la projection ; déterminer si des débris d'objet étranger sont présents à proximité du système en comparant le signal de détection calculé avec une valeur seuil de détection ; et régler l'état d'étalonnage du système en fonction de la présence ou de l'absence de débris d'objet étranger à proximité du système pour produire un état d'étalonnage de système mis à jour.
