An air purifier using underwater bubbles according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an air path unit having an inflow opening, at an upper part thereof, for the inflow of air, a path part provided between the inflow opening and a discharge opening and forming a supply path, of which the upper part is wide and the lower part is narrow, and discharge slits, provided on the outer side wall, for the discharge of purified air; an optical filter unit for sterilizing and purifying the air, flowing from the inflow opening to the discharge opening, by light and a photocatalyst; an air suction unit for suctioning the air through the inflow opening and discharging the same through the discharge opening; a bubble generating unit positioned in the discharge opening of the air path unit and having a nozzle for generating bubbles in water; and a bubble port unit for storing a liquid for generating bubbles by the bubble generating unit. Therefore, the air purifier can increase a sterilization effect on bacteria in air in comparison to a conventional air purifier, has a low possibility of bacterial propagation on a filter itself, has a simple operating method, can be easily carried so as to be easily installed in a desired use place, does not require the replacement of a pore filter, and can use the filter nearly semi-permanently.
