Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a device for detecting particulate matter. In this device, the amount of water in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine is estimated by estimation units (60, 70). If the estimated amount of water is greater than a water discharge threshold value, a first temperature control unit (60B) causes a heater to heat an element section to a temperature range in which water-induced cracking does not occur, irrespective of a water coverage amount. A water discharge determination unit (70C) determines that the discharging of water from the exhaust passage is completed if the estimated amount of water is less than the water discharge threshold value. Furthermore, if the discharging of water is determined to be completed, a second temperature control unit (60C) causes the heater to heat the element section over a predetermined length of time to a water-repelling temperature range which is lower than a temperature where particulate matter begins to combust and in which water adhering to the element section is repelled.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de détection de matière particulaire. Dans le dispositif selon l'invention, la quantité d'eau dans un passage d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne est estimée par des unités d'estimation (60, 70). Si la quantité estimée d'eau est supérieure à une valeur seuil d'évacuation d'eau, une première unité de régulation de température (60B) amène un élément chauffant à chauffer une section d'élément jusqu'à une plage de températures dans laquelle une craquelure induite par l'eau ne se produit pas, quelle que soit une quantité de recouvrement d'eau. Une unité de détermination d'évacuation d'eau (70C) détermine que l'évacuation de l'eau du passage d'échappement est achevée si la quantité estimée d'eau est inférieure à la valeur seuil d'évacuation d'eau. En outre, si l'évacuation de l'eau est déterminée comme étant achevée, une seconde unité de régulation de température (60C) amène l'élément chauffant à chauffer la section d'élément pendant une durée prédéfinie jusqu'à une plage de températures de répulsion de l'eau qui est inférieure à une température à laquelle la matière particulaire commence à brûler et pendant laquelle l'eau adhérant à la section d'élément est repoussée.
