Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a suction nozzle capable of improving removal performance for solid contaminants in a fluid, without significantly increasing fluid resistance. [Solution] A suction nozzle 10 connected to a suction pump and being for suctioning a fluid while separating solid contaminants in the fluid. The suction nozzle 10 has: a vertical flowpath 26; a contaminant-deposition recessed section 28 opening upwards, below the vertical flowpath 26; and a side flowpath 30 extending to the side from the vertical flowpath 26, at a position higher than the contaminant-deposition recessed section 28. The fluid sucked in from a lower surface suction port 20 is guided to the vertical flowpath 26 along the side flowpath 30, flows upwards inside the vertical flowpath 26, and reaches a connection port 17. When the fluid flows through the vertical flowpath 26, solid contaminants in the fluid are deposited in the contaminant-deposition recessed section 28, by gravity. As a result, solid contaminants are separated and removed from the fluid.
