Abstract:
(EN) The disclosed technology relates to imaging catheters. A method is provided that includes: receiving, from a plurality of transducers disposed on a catheter probe, a corresponding plurality of analog signals; selectively sampling the plurality of analog signals; multiplexing to produce a sequence of samples; and transmitting the sequence of samples to a receiver circuit. The receiver circuit includes a clock; an analog to digital converter (ADC) in communication with the clock; and a sampling phase correction circuit in communication with the clock and the ADC. The method further includes: determining optimum sampling times based on measured signal delays associated with the system; adjusting a phase of the clock based on the measured signal delays; and communicating the phase-adjusted clock to the transmitter circuit for the selective sampling of the analog signals. Certain embodiments of the disclosed technology may further be utilized in conjunction with beamforming.
(FR) L'invention concerne des technologies liées aux cathéters d'imagerie. L'invention concerne un procédé comprenant : la réception, en provenance d'une pluralité de transducteurs disposée sur une sonde de cathéter, d'une pluralité correspondante de signaux analogiques; l'échantillonnage sélectif de la pluralité de signaux analogiques; le multiplexage pour produire une séquence d'échantillons; et l'émissions de la séquence d'échantillons vers un circuit récepteur. Le circuit récepteur comprend une horloge; un convertisseur analogique–numérique (ADC) en communication avec l'horloge; et un circuit de correction de phase d'échantillonnage en communication avec l'horloge et l'ADC. Le procédé consiste en outre : à déterminer les temps d'échantillonnage optimaux sur la base des retards de signaux mesurés associés au système; à ajuster une phase de l'horloge sur la base des retards de signaux mesurés; et à communiquer l'horloge à phase ajustée au circuit d'émetteur pour échantillonner de manière sélective les signaux analogiques. Certains modes de réalisation de la présente technologie peuvent en outre être mis en œuvre parallèlement à la formation de faisceaux.
