Abstract:
(EN) A cage for a rolling bearing assembly with optimized contact surfaces to reduce friction between the cage and the adjacent contact surfaces is disclosed. The rolling bearing assembly includes a radially inner bearing ring including a radially inner race defined on a radially inner rolling element facing surface, a radially outer bearing ring including a radially outer race defined on a radially outer rolling element facing surface, and a plurality of rolling elements supported to roll between the radially inner race and the radially outer race. The cage includes a first rim including a first rolling element guide surface facing a plurality of rolling elements. A first outer surface facing away from the first rolling element guide surface includes a first outward projection. In another embodiment two bearing assemblies are provided, and each of the bearing assemblies includes a cage with optimized contact surfaces.
(FR) L'invention concerne une cage pour un ensemble palier de roulement ayant des surfaces de contact optimisées afin de réduire le frottement entre la cage et les surfaces de contact adjacentes. L'ensemble palier de roulement comprend une bague de palier radialement interne comprenant une piste radialement interne définie sur une surface en regard d'élément de roulement radialement interne, une bague de palier radialement externe comprenant une piste radialement externe définie sur une surface en regard d'élément de roulement radialement externe, et une pluralité d'éléments de roulement portés pour rouler entre la piste radialement interne et la piste radialement externe. La cage comprend un premier rebord comprenant une première surface de guidage d'éléments de roulement faisant face à une pluralité d'éléments de roulement. Une première surface externe dirigée de façon à être éloignée de la première surface de guidage d'éléments de roulement comprend une première saillie vers l'extérieur. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, deux ensembles paliers sont utilisés et chacun des ensembles paliers comprend une cage ayant des surfaces de contact optimisées.
