(EN)The present invention provides a method for encoding a video signal comprising the steps of: obtaining activity information from the video signal, wherein the activity signal indicates information relating to edge characteristics of an image and includes edge orientation information and/or edge level information; determining conditionally non-linear transform (CNT) configuration information on the basis of the activity information; and performing CNT prediction coding on the basis of the CNT configuration information, wherein the CNT prediction coding involves performing prediction using values of all pixels which have been previously decoded.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé qui permet de coder un signal vidéo et qui consiste: à obtenir des informations d’activité du signal vidéo, le signal d’activité indiquant des informations concernant des caractéristiques de contour d’une image et comprenant des informations d’orientation de contour et/ou des informations de niveau de contour ; à déterminer des informations de configuration de transformation non linéaire conditionnelle (CNT) sur la base des informations d’activité ; à effectuer un codage de prédiction CNT sur la base des informations de configuration CNT, le codage de prédiction CNT entraînant l'exécution d’une prédiction en utilisant des valeurs de tous les pixels qui ont été précédemment décodés.
