Abstract:
A scanning antenna (1000) in which antenna units (U) are arrayed, wherein the scanning antenna (1000) has: a first dielectric substrate (1); a TFT substrate having a TFT, a gate bus line, a source bus line, and a patch electrode (15); a second dielectric substrate (51); a slot substrate (201) having a slot electrode (55) formed on a first main surface of the second dielectric substrate; a liquid-crystal layer (LC) provided between the TFT substrate and a slot substrate; and a reflective electroconductive plate (65) disposed so as to face, across a dielectric layer, a second main surface on the side of the second dielectric substrate (51) opposite the first main surface. The TFT substrate (TFT substrate portion (101Cb)) has a terminal region (TR) on the outer side of a seal section (73), and the connection between the gate bus line or source bus line and the gate terminal part or source terminal part formed in the terminal region is made via a transparent electroconductive layer (14b) provided between the seal section (73) and the TFT substrate.
