Abstract:
Provided is an optical coherence tomographic image generation apparatus such that distortions of an image caused by hand movements can be suppressed. The optical coherence tomographic image generation apparatus (1) is provided with: a probe (30) containing a two-dimensional scanning mechanism (33) that deviates light incident from one of a grip part (3b) and a nozzle (3c) and reflects the light to the other side by time division driving; and an optical unit (10) that divides light emitted from a light source (11) into measurement light and reference light, and detects interference light resulting from interference between the reference light and scattered light that is reflected back from a measurement object (200) irradiated with the measurement light through the probe (30). The optical coherence tomographic image generation apparatus (1) generates an optical coherence tomographic image from detection signals of the interference light acquired over time. A control means (100) switches between a first operation mode in which the two-dimensional scanning mechanism (33) scans the surface of the object (200) irradiated with light in a direction parallel to a first direction, and a second operation mode in which the two-dimensional scanning mechanism (33) scans the surface in a direction parallel to a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
