(EN)A method and a system for sending alert messages are provided. The method includes defining an alert area associated with an alert event. The method further identifies one or more cells at least partially overlapping with the alert area. The method furthermore performs a passive positioning to determine a first set of communication devices associated with the one or more cells. Thereafter, the method performs an active positioning on the first set of communication devices to identify a second set of communication devices present within the alert area. The method then sends an alert message to the second set of communication devices.
(FR)L’invention concerne un procédé et un système pour envoyer des messages d’alerte. Le procédé consiste à définir une zone d’alerte associée à un événement d’alerte. Le procédé identifie en outre une ou plusieurs cellules chevauchant au moins partiellement la zone d’alerte. Le procédé réalise en outre un positionnement passif pour déterminer un premier ensemble de dispositifs de communication associés auxdites cellules. Ensuite, le procédé réalise un positionnement actif sur le premier ensemble de dispositifs de communication pour identifier un second ensemble de dispositifs de communication présents dans la zone d’alerte. Le procédé envoie ensuite un message d’alerte au second ensemble de dispositifs de communication.
