Abstract:
(EN) An underwater vehicle comprising: port and starboard thrusters spaced apart in a port- starboard direction, each thruster being oriented to generate a thrust force in a fore-aft direction perpendicular to the port-starboard direction; a vertical thruster which is oriented to generate a thrust force substantially perpendicular to the fore-aft and port- starboard directions; port, starboard and vertical ducts which contain the port, starboard and vertical thrusters respectively, each duct providing a channel for water to flow through its respective thruster; and a moving mass which can be moved relative to the thrusters in the fore-aft direction to control a pitch of the underwater vehicle.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un véhicule sous-marin comprenant : des propulseurs bâbord et tribord espacés l'un de l'autre dans une direction bâbord-tribord, chaque propulseur étant orienté pour produire une force de poussée dans une direction avant-arrière perpendiculaire à la direction bâbord-tribord; un propulseur vertical qui est orienté pour produire une force de poussée sensiblement perpendiculaire aux directions avant-arrière et bâbord-tribord; des conduits verticaux, bâbord et tribord qui contiennent les propulseurs verticaux, bâbord et tribord respectivement, chaque conduit matérialisant un canal permettant à l'eau de traverser son propulseur respectif; et une masse mobile qui peut être déplacée par rapport aux propulseurs dans la direction avant-arrière pour réguler le tangage du véhicule sous-marin.
