(FR) PROCÉDÉ POUR LE COUPLAGE DE MÉTHANE PAR OXYDATION
Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a process for the oxidative coupling of methane to one or more C2+ hydrocarbons which comprises subjecting a gas stream comprising methane, ethylene, optionally ethane and optionally nitrogen, resulting from subjecting methane and oxygen or air to methane oxidative coupling conditions, to two consecutive sorption steps which comprise contacting said gas stream comprising methane, ethylene, optionally ethane and optionally nitrogen with a selective sorption agent, resulting in sorption of part of said gas stream, comprising ethylene and optionally ethane, by the sorption agent and in a gas stream comprising the remainder of said gas stream, comprising methane, optionally ethane and optionally nitrogen, which latter gas stream is subjected to a second sorption step resulting in a further separation, finally resulting in a gas stream comprising methane which is optionally recycled to the methane oxidative coupling (reaction) step, wherein each sorption step is followed by a desorption step which comprises desorbing the sorbed components originating from the gas stream in question.
(FR) L’invention se rapporte à un procédé pour le couplage par oxydation de méthane à un ou plusieurs hydrocarbures en C2+, qui consiste à soumettre un flux de gaz comprenant du méthane, de l’éthylène, éventuellement de l’éthane et éventuellement de l’azote, résultant de l’opération consistant à soumettre du méthane et de l’oxygène ou de l’air à des conditions de couplage de méthane par oxydation, à deux étapes de sorption consécutives qui comprennent la mise en contact dudit flux de gaz comprenant du méthane, de l’éthylène, éventuellement de l’éthane et éventuellement de l’azote avec un agent de sorption sélective, ce qui aboutit à la sorption d’une partie dudit flux de gaz, comprenant de l’éthylène et éventuellement de l’éthane, par l’agent de sorption et à un flux de gaz comprenant le reste dudit flux de gaz, comprenant du méthane, éventuellement de l’éthane et éventuellement de l’azote, ce dernier flux de gaz étant soumis à une seconde étape de sorption aboutissant à une séparation supplémentaire, aboutissant en fin de compte à un flux de gaz comprenant du méthane qui est éventuellement recyclé vers l’étape de couplage (réaction) de méthane par oxydation, chaque étape de sorption étant suivie d’une étape de désorption qui comprend la désorption des constituants sorbés provenant du flux de gaz en question.
