Abstract:
A self-coupled power source ripple suppression circuit and method. The circuit comprises a coupled inductor, a balancing capacitor (C b), an input capacitor (C in) and an output capacitor (C out), the coupled inductor comprising a first inductor (L 2) and a second inductor (L 3) which are coupled to each other and wound around the same magnetic core, wherein a dotted terminal of the first inductor (L 2) and one end of the input capacitor (C in) are both connected to a power source input end (V in); a dotted terminal of the second inductor (L 3) is connected to one end of the balance capacitor (C b); the other end of the first inductor (L 2), the other end of the second inductor (L 3) and one end of the output capacitor (C out) are all connected to a power source output end (V out); and the other end of the balancing capacitor (C b), the other end of the input capacitor (C in) and the other end of the output capacitor (C out) are all grounded. By using a special inductive impedance, i.e. a coupled inductor, and cooperatively providing the balancing capacitor (Cb), the high-reliability and high-efficiency power source ripple suppression is realized, while the circuit volume is reduced, the circuit loss and product costs are reduced, and the requirements for environmental protection and no pollution are met.
