Abstract:
(EN) A method and system for improving the contrast of an OLED display panel. The method comprises: converting an original RGB signal to the HSI color space formed by a hue dimension, a saturation dimension, and an intensity dimension; then performing calculation on the intensity component, so as to obtain an intensity component histogram; obtaining a conversion parameter according to the intensity component histogram; performing, by combining the conversion parameter and an original negative drive voltage, computation to acquire a new negative drive voltage, and at the same time, performing enhancement processing on the intensity component to obtain a new intensity component while the hue component and saturation component remain unchanged; and then converting the hue component, the saturation component, and the new intensity component to the RGB color space to obtain an R'G'B' signal, and providing the R'G'B' signal and the new negative drive voltage to a pixel drive circuit, thereby improving the contrast of an OLED display panel, the display quality of the OLED display panel, and reducing power consumption of the OLED display panel.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de réhaussement du contraste d'un panneau d'affichage à OLED. Le procédé comprend : la conversion d'un signal RGB d'origine dans un espace colorimétrique HSI constitué d'une dimension de teinte, une dimension de saturation et une dimension d'intensité; la réalisation d'un calcul sur la composante d'intensité de manière à obtenir un histogramme de composante d'intensité; l'obtention d'un paramètre de conversion en fonction de l'histogramme de composante d'intensité; la réalisation d'un calcul, par combinaison du paramètre de conversion et d'une tension de commande négative d'origine, pour acquérir une nouvelle tension de commande négative, et, en même temps, l'exécution d'un traitement de réhaussement sur la composante d'intensité pour obtenir une nouvelle composante d'intensité tandis que la composante de teinte et la composante de saturation restent inchangées; puis la conversion de la composante de teinte, de la composante de saturation et de la nouvelle composante d'intensité dans un espace colorimétrique RGB afin d'obtenir un signal R'G'B', et la transmission du signal R'G'B' ainsi que de la nouvelle tension de commande négative à un circuit d'attaque de pixel, ce qui permet d'améliorer le contraste et la qualité d'affichage du panneau d'affichage à OLED et de réduire sa consommation d'énergie.
(ZH) 一种提升OLED显示面板对比度的方法及系统。该方法通过将原始RGB信号转换到由色调分量、饱和度分量、和亮度分量构成的HSI颜色空间,再对亮度分量进行直方图统计,获得亮度分量的直方图,依据亮度分量的直方图获得变换参数,通过变换参数结合原始低驱动电压计算得到新的低驱动电压,同时保持色调分量和饱和度分量不变,对亮度分量进行增强处理获得新的亮度分量,再将色调分量、饱和度分量和新的亮度分量转换至RGB颜色空间,获得R'G'B'信号,并将R'G'B'信号和新的低驱动电压提供给像素驱动电路,能够提升OLED显示面板的对比度,提升OLED显示面板的显示质量,降低OLED显示面板的耗电量。
