Abstract:
(EN) A parallel robotic manipulator for generating 3 dimensional structures includes a set of redeployable towers adapted to transport one or more cables, and at least one drive source operable to draw or traverse the cables across a rendering area. An end- effector suspended from the cables is operable to deposit extrudate onto the rendering area, and a nozzle in the end-effector is configured to selectively deposit the extrudate at predefined locations based on the position of the cable. A control unit has control logic for directing the drive source, in which the cables are responsive to the drive source for disposing the end-effector either along the cables or drawn and extended from the towers. An extrudate reservoir and a pump in fluidic communication with the reservoir allows the pump to force the extrudate for deposition at the predefined location responsive to the control logic.
(FR) Manipulateur robotique parallèle destiné à produire des structures en 3 dimensions comportant un ensemble de tours redéployables conçues pour transporter un ou plusieurs câbles, et au moins une source d'entraînement servant à tirer ou à faire traverser les câbles dans une zone de rendu. Un effecteur terminal suspendu aux câbles sert à déposer un extrudat sur la zone de rendu, et une buse dans l'effecteur terminal est conçue pour déposer sélectivement l'extrudat à des emplacements prédéfinis sur la base de la position du câble. Une unité de commande possède une logique de commande pour diriger la source d'entraînement, dans laquelle les câbles sont sensibles à la source d'entraînement pour disposer l'effecteur terminal soit le long des câbles ou tiré et étendu depuis les tours. Un réservoir d'extrudat et une pompe en communication fluidique avec le réservoir permettent à la pompe de forcer l'extrudat pour dépôt à l'emplacement prédéfini en réponse à la logique de commande.
