Abstract:
(EN) A touch sensor is provided having a matrix of row electrodes and column electrodes. Associated circuitry progressively drives the row electrodes in successive touch-sensing frames, and the resulting signals on the column electrodes are processed to detect touch events. In each interval of each touch-sensing frame, a different grouping of the row electrodes is driven. Within each interval, the associated grouping is driven in multiple differently-driven drive states. For a set of possible touch events associated with the row electrodes of the grouping, the drive states produce differing drive state outputs that collectively, but not individually, are usable to detect each of the different touch events.
(FR) L'invention concerne un capteur tactile, comportant une matrice d'électrodes de rangée et d'électrodes de colonne. Des circuits associés excitent progressivement les électrodes de rangée dans des trames séquentielles de détection tactile, et les signaux résultants sur les électrodes de colonne sont traités pour détecter des événements tactiles. Dans chaque intervalle de chaque trame de détection tactile, un groupement différent de la rangée d'électrodes est excité. Dans chaque intervalle, le groupement associé est excité dans multiples états d'excitation excité de manière différente. Pour un ensemble d'événements tactiles potentiels associés à la rangée d'électrodes du groupement, les états d'excitation d'excitation produisent différentes sorties d'états d'excitation qui collectivement, mais non individuellement, sont utilisables pour détecter chacun des événements tactiles différents.
