Title: IRREGULARLY-SHAPED-BLOCK INVERTING DEVICE AND IRREGULARLY-SHAPED-BLOCK PLACEMENT METHOD
Abstract:
Provided is an irregularly-shaped-block inverting device that can, without requiring a great burden, invert an irregularly-shaped-block to a necessary disposition posture when performing placement work. The inverting device is provided with the following: a pair of place-and-hold rails 13 on which an irregularly-shaped-block B can be placed and held and which can support the irregularly-shaped-block B; an inverting stand 2 having between the place-and-hold rails 13 a retraction region 30; a rotation control member 3 that is positioned between the place-and-hold rails 13, that includes support surfaces 18, 19 which can support one section L3 of the irregularly-shaped-block, and that can move between a support position at which the irregularly-shaped-block support location of the support surface 18 is substantially the same height as the place-and-hold rails 13 and at which the irregularly-shaped-block B can be supported in a first posture, and a retracted position at which the support location 19 is located at a position lower than the place-and-hold rails 13 and at which the irregularly-shaped-block can be supported in a second posture such that the one section is within the retraction region; and a drive mechanism 4 for causing the rotation control member 3 to move.
