Abstract:
(EN) A technique for producing a device for sensing a target species, comprising: providing first and second components (A, B), each comprising a support film (22, 30), wherein at least one of said first and second components comprises at least one working electrode (6) supported on the respective support film, at least one of said first and second components comprises at least one counter electrode (10, 12) supported on the respective support film, at least one of said first and second components defines a containing barrier supported on the respective support film, and at least one of said first and second components comprises an array of spacer structures (16) supported on the respective support film; depositing a volume of liquid electrolyte (21) on said first component; laminating said second component to said first component so as to spread said volume of liquid electrolyte out in a space created by said array of spacer structures within a liquid electrolyte area bounded by said containing barrier; wherein said liquid electrolyte functions to transport at least one electrochemical reaction product of an electrochemical reaction of the target species at the working electrode to the counter electrode for a counter electrochemical reaction at the counter electrode.
(FR) L'invention concerne une technique de production d'un dispositif permettant de détecter une espèce cible, ladite technique comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir des premier et second composants (A, B) comprenant chacun un film support (22, 30), au moins l'un desdits premier et second composants comportant au moins une électrode de travail (6) reposant sur le film support correspondant, au moins l'un desdits premier et second composants comportant au moins une contre-électrode (10, 12) reposant sur le film support correspondant, au moins l'un desdits premier et second composants définissant une barrière de rétention reposant sur le film support correspondant, et au moins l'un desdits premier et second composants comportant un réseau de structures d'espacement (16) reposant sur le film support correspondant ; déposer un volume d'électrolyte liquide (21) sur ledit premier composant ; appliquer ledit second composant en couche sur ledit premier composant de façon à ce que ledit volume d'électrolyte liquide déborde d'un espace créé par ledit réseau de structures d'espacement à l'intérieur d'une zone d'électrolyte liquide délimitée par ladite barrière de rétention ; lesdites fonctions d'électrolyte liquide servant à transporter au moins un produit réactionnel électrochimique d'une réaction électrochimique de l'espèce cible au niveau de l'électrode de travail à la contre-électrode pour une contre-réaction électrochimique au niveau de la contre-électrode.
