(EN)A method of controlling a fusing sub-system in an additive manufacturing system. Image information is received, the received image information having been generated by a thermal imaging system in relation to a given fusing process. Positional information is received, the received positional information indicating the position of an axis carriage for the given fusing process. A power to be applied to one or more fusing lamps for the given fusing process is determined at least on the basis of the received image information and the received positional information. The power applied to the one or more fusing lamps is controlled according to the determination.
