Abstract:
(EN) [Problem] To provide an optical element and an LED lighting device which can suppress a degradation in brightness. [Solution] An optical element according to this embodiment includes: an incident surface facing a light source; a side surface intersecting the incident surface; and a recessed surface facing the incident surface, intersecting the side surface, and having a shape protruding toward the incident surface. The recessed surface has: a first surface through which a central axis connecting the central portion of the incident surface and the central portion of the recessed surface passes; a second surface connected to the first surface; and a third surface connected to both the second surface and the side surface. The distance L along the central axis from the recessed surface to the incident surface satisfies condition (1), where r is the distance from the center of the incident surface to the peripheral edge of the incident surface, and n is the refractive index of the optical element.
(FR) Le problème décrit par l'invention est de pourvoir à un élément optique et un dispositif d'éclairage à diodes électroluminescentes (DEL) qui puissent supprimer une dégradation de luminosité. La solution de l'invention porte, selon un mode de réalisation, sur un élément optique qui comprend : une surface d'incidence en regard d'une source de lumière ; une surface latérale coupant la surface d'incidence ; et une surface en retrait en regard de la surface d'incidence, coupant la surface latérale, et ayant une forme s'avançant vers la surface d'incidence. La surface en retrait comporte : une première surface par laquelle passe un axe central reliant la partie centrale de la surface d'incidence et la partie centrale de la surface en retrait ; une deuxième surface reliée à la première surface ; et une troisième surface reliée à la deuxième surface et à la surface latérale. La distance L, le long de l'axe central, de la surface en retrait à la surface d'incidence satisfait une condition (1), dans laquelle r est la distance du centre de la surface d'incidence au bord périphérique de la surface d'incidence, et n est l'indice de réfraction de l'élément optique.
