Abstract:
This distance measuring device includes: a derivation unit that derives the dimensions of an actual spatial region corresponding to the space between a plurality of pixels that are related to image irradiation positions in a captured image obtained by imaging with an imaging unit, the image irradiation positions being derived as positions corresponding to the irradiation positions on a subject by a laser beam, and the dimensions being derived on the basis of the distance measured by a measurement unit, the space between the specified plurality of pixels, and the focal length of the imaging unit; and an output unit that, on the basis of a first correspondence relationship between the derivation accuracy of the derivation unit and assumed factors that are assumed to be factors which impact the image irradiation positions, derives the derivation accuracy corresponding to the factors which are actually present and outputs information based on the derivation accuracy derived thereby.
