(EN) The present invention relates to methods for quantifying the population of endothelial cells in a tissue sample. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for quantifying the population of endothelial cells in a tissue sample obtained from a subject comprising determining the expression level of at least one gene selected from the group consisting of CDH5, EMCN, MYCT1, ELTD1, ROBO4, CLEC14A, VWF, ESAM, MMRN2 and KDR.
