Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to methods for detecting activation of a brown/beige fat cell or brown/beige adipose tissue (BAT) in a biological sample taken from a mammal to be diagnosed, comprising measuring the amount of miR-92 in said sample. The invention further- more relates to diagnostic and clinical applications of the methods of the invention.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des méthodes de détection de l'activation d'une cellule adipeuse brune/beige ou d'un tissu adipeux brun/beige (BAT) dans un échantillon biologique prélevé sur un mammifère devant être diagnostiqué, comprenant une mesure de la quantité de miR-92 dans ledit échantillon. En outre, l'invention concerne des applications diagnostiques et cliniques des méthodes de l'invention.
