Abstract

A flapper valve includes a body having first and second end, and a flapper pivotably coupled to the body and movable between a closed position, where the flapper prevents fluid flow through the body, and an open position, where fluid flow is allowed through the body. A first torsion spring is coupled to the body at the second end and provides a spring arm that engages and urges the flapper to the closed position. A support beam is coupled to the body and includes an axial extension that extends axially past the second end. A closure beam having a first beam end is pivotably coupled to the axial extension and a second beam end is engageable with the flapper. A second torsion spring is coupled to the axial extension and engageable with the closure beam to urge the closure beam into engagement with the flapper.

Une soupape à languette comprend un corps ayant une première et une seconde extrémité, et un obturateur couplé pivotant au corps et mobile entre une position fermée, où l'obturateur empêche le fluide de s'écouler à travers le corps, et une position ouverte, où le fluide est autorisé à s'écouler à travers le corps. Un premier ressort de torsion est couplé au corps au niveau de la seconde extrémité et fournit un bras de ressort qui vient en prise avec l'obturateur et le pousse vers la position fermée. Un fléau de support est couplé au corps et comprend une extension axiale qui s'étend axialement au-delà de la seconde extrémité. Un fléau de fermeture ayant une première extrémité de fléau est couplé pivotant à l'extension axiale et une seconde extrémité de fléau est apte à venir en prise avec l'obturateur. Un second ressort de torsion est couplé à l'extension axiale et est apte à venir en prise avec le fléau de fermeture pour pousser le fléau de fermeture en prise avec l'obturateur.
