Title: OLED DRIVING SYSTEM AND DRIVING METHOD FOR ENHANCING PICTURE CONTRAST
Abstract:
An OLED driving system and a driving method for enhancing picture contrast. The invention involves dividing evenly an OLED display panel (4) vertically into multiple display partitions, and calculating an average pixel brightness corresponding to each display partition in the OLED display panel (4) by means of a brightness calculation module (2). In one aspect, a power management module (3) provides each display partition with a distinctive reference voltage (Vref) respectively based on the average pixel brightness of each display partition in the OLED display panel (4), and plugs the reference voltage (Vref) of each display partition into a reference voltage line (Vref-line) of a middle row pixel of the corresponding display partition, making the reference voltage (Vref) of each display partition different, thereby enhancing picture contrast. In another aspect, an image compensation module (5) is used to compensate for image data of one frame of the picture on the basis of the average pixel brightness of each display partition in the OLED display panel (4) so as to ensure the picture display quality.
