Abstract:
(EN) A digital titrator for use in chemical analysis instruments comprises a vertical transparent tube (buret) (1) containing the titrant and monitored by an image reader (CiS) (2) parallel to the tube. A reservoir of titrant solution (3) communicates with the buret, the titrant being transferred by the action of a pump (4). The titrant solution is released into the reaction flask (6) through a valve (5) and a sensor (7) in the flask collects and transmits information about the progress of the monitored reaction to the computer (8). The analysis data are stored, processed and displayed to the user on a screen and/or printed. A flexible tube interconnects the upper ends of the tube and of the reservoir and transfers the saturated inner atmosphere from one to the other, according to the pressure variation caused by the movement of the meniscus, without any gas exchange with the atmosphere, preventing solvent evaporation and the concomitant alteration in titrant concentration. For the same purpose, air entering the reservoir from the atmosphere goes through a saturation flask (9) containing pure solvent. A PCI (10) is used to control the computer-assisted operations and an agitator (11) homogenises the titrated substance.
(FR) L'invention concerne un titrateur numérique trouvant une application en analyse chimique instrumentale, comprenant un tube transparent vertical (burette) (1) qui contient le titrant, surveillé par un lecteur d'image (CiS) (2) parallèle au tube. Un réservoir de solution titrante (3) communique avec la burette, avec transfert par pompe (4). La libération de ladite solution est réalisée par valve (5) vers le flacon de réaction (6), où un capteur (7) collecte les informations sur la progression de la réaction surveillée et les transmet à l'ordinateur (8). Les données analytiques sont stockées, traitées et présentées à l'utilisateur sur un écran et/ou imprimées. Un tube souple met en communication les extrémités supérieures du tube et du réservoir et transfère l'atmosphère interne saturée réciproquement, selon la variation de pression causée par le mouvement du ménisque, sans échange de gaz avec l'atmosphère, évitant ainsi l'évaporation de solvant et la conséquente modification de la concentration de la substance titrée. Dans le même but, l'air admis de l'atmosphère vers le réservoir passe par le flacon de saturation (9) contenant un solvant pur. Une PCI (10) commande les opérations, assistées par l'ordinateur, et un agitateur (11) homogénéise la solution titrée.
(PT) Titulador digital, para aplicação em análise química instrumental, compreendendo um tubo transparente vertical (bureta) (1), que contêm o titulante, monitorado por leitor de imagem (CiS) (2), paralelo ao tubo. Um reservatório de solução titulante (3) se comunica com a bureta, com transferência por bomba (4). A liberação da dita solução é feita por válvula (5) ao frasco de reação (6), onde um sensor (7) coleta e transmite informações sobre o andamento da reação monitorada ao computador (8). Os dados analíticos são armazenados, processados e exibidos ao usuário numa tela e/ou impressos. Um tubo flexível comunica as extremidades superiores do tubo e do reservatório e transfere a atmosfera interna saturada reciprocamente, conforme a variação de pressão causada pelo movimento do menisco, sem troca gasosa com a atmosfera, evitando a evaporação de solvente e consequente alteração da concentração do titulante. Com a mesma finalidade, o ar admitido da atmosfera para o reservatório passa por frasco de saturação (9), contendo solvente puro. Uma PCI (10) comanda as operações, assistidas pelo computador, e um agitador (11) homogeniza o titulado.
