Abstract:
(EN) A dry electrode manufacturing process employed for low cost battery through a dry mixing and formation process. A thermal activation renders the dry fabricated electrode comparable to conventional slurry casted electrodes. The dry electrode mixture results from a combination of a plurality of types of constituent particles, including at least an active charge material and a binder, and typically a conductive material such as carbon. The process heats the deposited mixture to a moderate temperature for activating the binder for adhering the mixture to the substrate; and compresses the deposited mixture to a thickness for achieving an electrical sufficiency of the compressed, deposited mixture as a charge material in a battery.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'électrodes sèches utilisées pour batterie à faible coût grâce à un processus de mélange à sec et de formation. Une activation thermique rend l'électrode sèche fabriquée comparable à des électrodes classiques produites par coulée de suspension. Le mélange d'électrodes sèches est obtenu partir d'une combinaison d'une pluralité de types de particules constitutives, comprenant au moins un matériau de charge active et un liant, et précisément un matériau conducteur tel que le carbone. Le procédé comprend le chauffage du mélange déposé jusqu'à une température modérée pour activer le liant pour l'adhérence du mélange au substrat; et la compression du mélange déposé jusqu'à une épaisseur permettant d'obtenir une suffisance électrique du mélange comprimé, déposé en tant que matériau de charge dans une batterie.
