Abstract:
(EN) A process for the manufacture of thermoplastic polymer particles, including combining a first solution including a thermoplastic polymer and an organic solvent with a second solution including an aqueous solvent and a surfactant to provide an emulsion. The emulsion is transferred into a receiving water to remove the organic solvent and form an aqueous dispersion including a plurality of thermoplastic polymer particles dispersed in the aqueous solvent. The thermoplastic polymer particles having a D50 of 20 to 100 µm are recovered in a yield of greater than 85%. Thermoplastic polymer particles prepared according to the method are also disclosed.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de particules polymères thermoplastiques, consistant à combiner une première solution comprenant un polymère thermoplastique et un solvant organique avec une seconde solution comprenant un solvant aqueux et un tensioactif pour produire une émulsion. L'émulsion est transférée dans une eau de réception pour éliminer le solvant organique et former une dispersion aqueuse comprenant une pluralité de particules polymères thermoplastiques dispersées dans le solvant aqueux. Les particules polymères thermoplastiques, présentant un D50 allant de 20 à 100 µm, sont récupérées selon un rendement supérieur à 85 %. La présente invention concerne également des particules polymères thermoplastiques préparées conformément au procédé.
