Abstract:
(EN) A method for detecting glaucoma in a subject based on spatial frequency analysis of the inner limiting membrane (ILM) as obtained from optical coherence tomography (OCT) image data is disclosed. Based on the spatial frequency content of the analyzed ILM profile, a quantity called the Retinal surface contour variability (RSCV) is calculated and the presence or absence of a glaucoma condition is determined based on the RSCV magnitude.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une méthode permettant de détecter un glaucome chez un sujet basée sur une analyse fréquentielle spatiale de la membrane limitante interne (ILM) telle qu'obtenue à partir de données d'image de tomographie par cohérence optique (OCT). En se basant sur le contenu fréquentiel spatial du profil de l'ILM analysée, une quantité appelée variabilité de contour de surface de la rétine (RSCV) est calculée et la présence ou l'absence d'une condition de glaucome est déterminée en se basant sur l'ampleur de la RSCV.
