Abstract:
(EN) A remotely operated vehicle (ROV) compatible photovoltaic powered cathodic protection (CP) probe can measure voltage potential of subsea structures. In an embodiment, the CPs meter is integrated and able to send CP data topside. The CP meters compact display module also houses the telemetry board to send CP readings, via an ROV serial, topside. The CP probe does not require a battery and can be used standalone or connected through an ROV to topside logging and display. Further, the CP probe can monitor a plurality of CP voltages and other conditions such as an electrical field gradient.
(FR) L'invention concerne une sonde de protection cathodique (CP) alimentée par voie photovoltaïque compatible avec un véhicule actionné à distance (ROV) qui peut mesurer le potentiel de tension de structures sous-marines. Dans un mode de réalisation, le compteur de CP est intégré et apte à envoyer des données de CP en surface. Le module d'affichage compact des compteurs de CP loge également le tableau de télémétrie pour envoyer les lectures de CP, par le biais d'un ROV en série, vers la surface. La sonde de CP ne nécessite pas de batterie et peut être utilisée de manière autonome ou connectée par le biais d'un ROV à un afficheur et un journal en surface. En outre, la sonde de CP peut surveiller une pluralité de tensions de CP et d'autres conditions telles qu'un gradient de champ électrique.
