Abstract:
(EN) A method increase of the Resolution Index (Rl) of a chromatogram generated from a polymer sample comprising at least two olefin-based polymers of different microstructures and/or at least two olefin-based polymer fractions of different microstructures. The method comprises separating the mixture on a low-porosity stationary phase and repeatedly cycling the sample-stationary phase through a series of cooling and heating stages with active eluent flow only during the cooling stages and during the last heating stage to elute the separated analytes off the column.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé qui accroît l'indice de résolution (RI) d'un chromatogramme généré à partir d'un échantillon de polymère comprenant au moins deux polymères à base d'oléfines de microstructures différentes et/ou au moins deux fractions de polymères à base d'oléfines de microstructures différentes. Le procédé consiste à séparer le mélange sur une phase stationnaire à faible porosité et à effectuer un cycle répété de la phase stationnaire d'échantillon à travers une série de stades de refroidissement et de chauffage avec un flux d'éluant actif seulement lors des stades de refroidissement et pendant le dernier stade de chauffage pour éluer les analytes séparés de la colonne.
