Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to compositions and methods for enhancing T cell metabolism and activity for more effective adoptive T cell therapy. By expressing an intracellular signaling molecule in T cells, the T cells are metabolically enhanced with improved cytotoxicity and resistance to immunosuppression imposed by tumor microenvironments. One aspect includes a modified T cell and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the modified cells for adoptive cell therapy and treating a disease or condition associated with enhanced immunity.
(FR) La présente invention concerne des compositions et des procédés permettant d'améliorer le métabolisme et l'activité des lymphocytes T pour une thérapie adoptive plus efficace basée sur les lymphocytes T. En exprimant une molécule de signalisation intracellulaire dans les lymphocytes T, les lymphocytes T sont métaboliquement améliorés avec des propriétés améliorées de cytotoxicité et de résistance à l'immunosuppression imposée par des micro-environnements tumoraux. Un aspect de l'invention comprend un lymphocyte T modifié et des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant lesdites cellules modifiées pour une thérapie cellulaire adoptive et pour le traitement d'une maladie ou d'une affection associée à une immunité améliorée.
