Abstract:
(EN) An imaging laser range finder including an objective lens having an optical axis, an object side, and an image side, a controllable pixelated light modulator disposed along the optical axis on the image side of the lens, and a detector disposed optically downstream from the pixelated light modulator on the image side of the lens. The controllable pixelated light modulator is advantageously a MEMS-based system such as a digital mirror device (DMD). An increased field of view may be obtained by incorporating a pair of opposing surface reflectors between an imaging lens and the controllable pixelated light modulator. Associated methods are disclosed.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un télémètre laser d'imagerie comprenant une lentille de focalisation ayant un axe optique, un côté objet et un côté image, un modulateur de lumière pixelisé réglable disposé le long de l'axe optique sur le côté image de la lentille, et un détecteur disposé optiquement en aval du modulateur de lumière pixelisé sur le côté image de la lentille. Le modulateur de lumière pixelisé réglable constitue avantageusement un système basé sur MEMS, tel qu'un dispositif à miroir numérique (DMD). Un champ de vision accru peut être obtenu par incorporation d'une paire de réflecteurs de surface opposée entre une lentille d'imagerie et le modulateur de lumière pixelisé réglable. L'invention porte également sur des procédés associés.
