Abstract:
(EN) A method includes forming a coating (106a, 106b, 306a, 306b) that covers at least part of a conduction substrate (102a, 102b, 302a, 302b), where the conduction substrate is configured to transport thermal energy. The method also includes forming at least part of an optical waveguide on the coating. The optical waveguide includes multiple cladding layers (108a-108b, 308a-308b) and a core (110, 310), and the optical waveguide is configured to transport optical signals. The conduction substrate, the coating, and the optical waveguide form an integrated monolithic waveguide structure.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé qui comprend la formation d'un revêtement (106a, 106b, 306a, 306b) qui recouvre au moins une partie d'un substrat de conduction (102a, 102b, 302a, 302b), le substrat de conduction étant conçu pour transporter de l'énergie thermique. Le procédé comprend également la formation d'au moins une partie d'un guide d'ondes optique sur le revêtement. Le guide d'ondes optique comprend de multiples couches de gainage (108a à 108b, 308a à 308b) et un cœur (110, 310), et le guide d'ondes optique est conçu pour transporter des signaux optiques.
