Title: CONTROL METHOD FOR SPOT WELDING
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a control method for spot welding which can embody an excellent quality control technique for resistance spot welding which is applicable to various steels with different thicknesses, minimize welding failures such as surface flash and spatter, enhance welding reproducibility, and minimize or inhibit a change in welding quality despite an increase in the degree of contamination of an electrode caused by continuous welding, and to a recording medium in which a program therefor is stored. The control method for spot welding comprises the steps of: applying, to a welding material, power to a first set power value within a first set time period through at least one electrode; maintaining the first set power value for a second set time period; increasing the power from the first set power value so as to reach a second set power value within a third set time period; and decreasing the power from the second set power value to less than the second set power value for a fourth set time period.
