Abstract:
Provided is a method for laminating and extracting glass plates for a light-guide plate, which method enables, after glass plates for a light-guide plate are conveyed in the form of a laminate having slip sheets interposed between lamination layers thereof, printing to be applied thereon without washing the glass plates for a light-guide plate, and which method makes the wetting characteristic of the glass plates for a light-guide plate less susceptible to being affected by different storage conditions during long-term storage. The method for laminating and extracting glass plates for a light-guide plate, comprises: obtaining a glass laminate by stacking a plurality of glass plates for a light-guide plate in an upright position while interposing slip sheets between the respective lamination layers thereof; and extracting the glass plates for a light-guide plate one at a time out of the laminate. The method is characterized by: selecting, as the slip sheets, slip sheets resulting in a paper dust adhesion amount of less than 20 pieces /100 cm2 on the respective glass plates as measured according to a prescribed procedure; performing the procedure for stacking the plurality of glass plates for a light-guide plate in upright position while interposing the slip sheets between the respective lamination layers, in a clean room; that the step for extracting the glass plates for a light-guide plate one at a time out of the glass laminate comprises a procedure in which, at the interface between the glass plate for a light-guide plate and a slip sheet stuck thereto, the slip sheet is peeled off in order from a first end side toward a second end side; and that, in the procedure, the slip sheet is peeled in a direction substantially perpendicular to the interface between the glass plate for a light-guide plate and the slip sheet.
