Abstract:
[Problem] To impart low-temperature thermosetting properties superior to those of a phenolic-resin prepolymer to a prepolymer that is a mixture of a blocked isocyanate compound and an isocyanate-reactive compound, as well as to provide a thermosetting plastic that is a thermally cured product of the prepolymer at a cost equivalent to that of a phenolic resin without exerting harmful effects on the environment during thermal curing, and to suppress the emission of formaldehyde. [Solution] At least one thermally dissociative blocking agent selected from the group consisting of ammonia and ammonium salts is used as a thermally dissociative blocking agent capable of reacting with isocyanate compounds and dissociating at very low temperatures, the thermally dissociative blocking agent blocking isocyanate groups of the isocyanate compound by urea terminations.
