Title: WHEEL FASTENING STATE ASSESSING DEVICE
Abstract:
Provided is a wheel fastening state assessing device with which it is possible to assess accurately the fastening quality of a wheel fastening portion when a wheel is being fitted or when a vehicle is being inspected, and in which a component which is mounted permanently on the wheel to assess the fastening state is compact, allowing the impact on the vehicle to be reduced, while making it possible for strain detection to be carried out accurately. The wheel fastening state assessing device is provided with a spacer-type sensor unit (3), a fastening state assessing means (5) and a tightening torque measuring means (20) of a tightening tool (19). The sensor unit (3) is provided with: a spacer-like member (12) in the shape of a ring, for generating deformation, which is interposed around the entire circumference of the wheel between the head portions of hub bolts and wheel nuts used to attach the wheel to a hub; and at least one strain sensor (13). The fastening state assessing means (5) is provided in an information processing device (4). The fastening state assessing means (5) assesses the fastening state using strain information from the strain sensor (13) and the tightening torque detected by the tightening torque measuring means (20).
