Title: THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION MODULE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THERMOELECTRIC CONVERSION MODULE, AND HEAT-CONDUCTIVE SUBSTRATE
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a thermoelectric conversion module that is highly producible via the so-called roll-to-roll method; a method for producing this thermoelectric conversion module; and a heat-conductive substrate to be used in the thermoelectric conversion module or the like. The problem is solved by providing a thermoelectric conversion module which has: a longitudinally oriented support body that is flexible and insulative; a plurality of metal layers formed on one surface of the support body with an interval interposed therebetween in the lengthwise direction of the support body; a plurality of thermoelectric conversion layers formed on the same surface of the support body as are the metal layers, with an interval interposed therebetween in the lengthwise direction of the support body; and a connecting electrode for connecting the thermoelectric conversion layers that are adjacent to one another in the lengthwise direction of the support body. The metal layers have low-rigidity sections exhibiting a lower rigidity than do the other regions and oriented in parallel with the widthwise direction of the support body. The low-rigidity sections are positioned at a fixed interval from one another. Furthermore, the low-rigidity sections of the metal layers are alternately folded upward and folded downward in the lengthwise direction.
