Title: VACUUM CIRCUIT BREAKER
Abstract:
A vacuum circuit breaker (1) having a vacuum interrupter (3) stored in a grounding tank (2) in which insulating gas is sealed. As the electrode material for at least one of a fixed electrode (10) and a movable electrode (11) of the vacuum interrupter (3), an electrode material is used in which solid solution particles containing Cr and heat resistant elements are dispersed in a fine and uniform manner, and in which also Cu portions as a highly conductive material component are dispersed finely and uniformly. The electrode material contains Cu by 20 to 70%, Cr by 1.5 to 64%, and the heat resistant element by 6 to 76% in weight ratio with respect to the electrode material. The solid solution particles included in the electrode material have an average particle diameter of not more than 20 μm, and are uniformly dispersed in Cu phase with a dispersion state index of not more than 2.0.
