Abstract:
A rotor iron core is formed by stacking a plurality of iron core plates (1) provided with: inner-circumferential-side iron core parts (2); outer-circumferential-side iron core parts (3); magnet insertion holes (5); radial-direction coupling parts (6b) which are coupled to the inner-circumferential-side iron core parts (2); circumferential-direction coupling parts (6a) which are coupled between the outer-circumferential-side iron core parts (3) and the radial-direction coupling parts (6b), are each provided with a minimum width portion having a smaller width than both ends, and each have a width that smoothly decreases from both ends towards the minimum width portion; and thin plate portions (12) which are provided in the circumferential-direction coupling parts (6a), and are formed from constant thickness portions having a constant plate thickness, and changing thickness portions that are disposed next to the constant thickness portions and have increasing plate thickness, said constant thickness portions having the minimum width portions provided therein. Accordingly, sufficient strength can achieved even though the plate thickness of the circumferential-direction coupling parts (6a) is thinned, and leakage flux can be reduced.
