Abstract:
This distance measurement device includes: an imaging unit; a measurement unit that emits a directional light having directivity on a subject and measures the distance from the subject by receiving the reflected light of the directional light; and a derivation unit that determines the correspondence relationship between an irradiation location in a temporary image, said location corresponding to the location of irradiation of the subject by the directional light in a temporary image obtained by temporarily imaging the subject by means of the imaging unit each time one of a plurality of distances is temporarily measured by the measurement unit, and a distance temporarily measured by the measurement unit using the directional light corresponding to the irradiation location in the temporary image, and, on the basis of the determined correspondence relationship, derives an irradiation location in a main image, said location corresponding to the location irradiated by the directional light used during a main measurement by the measurement unit in a main image obtained by means of a main imaging carried out by the imaging unit.
