Title: STARTING METHOD FOR VARIABLE SPEED ACCELERATOR AND STARTING CONTROL DEVICE FOR VARIABLE SPEED ACCELERATOR
Abstract:
This starting method is for a variable speed accelerator provided with an electric device that generates rotational drive force and a planetary gear transmission device that changes the speed of the rotational drive force generated by the electric device and transmits the result to an object to be driven. The electric device comprises: a constant speed electric motor having a constant speed rotor that causes the internal gear carrier shaft of the transmission device to rotate in a first direction; and a variable speed electric motor that comprises a variable speed rotor connected to the planetary gear carrier shaft of the transmission device, that functions as a generator in a generator mode in which the variable speed rotor is rotated in a first direction, and that functions as an electric motor in an electric motor mode in which the variable speed rotor is rotated in a second direction that is the opposite direction from the first direction. The starting method for a variable speed accelerator is provided with: a variable speed electric motor start-up step in which the variable speed electric motor is started up at approximately the minimum rotational speed for the electric motor mode; a constant speed electric motor start-up step in which the constant speed electric motor is started up and the rotational speeds of the constant speed rotor and the internal gears in the first direction are made to gradually increase; a generator mode transition step in which the variable speed electric motor is made to transition to the generator mode when the current value of the variable speed electric motor reaches a predetermined current value; and an electric motor mode transition step in which the variable speed electric motor is made to transition to the electric motor mode when the current value of the constant speed electric motor becomes less than a predetermined current value.
