Abstract:
An adhesive application system (1) for shoes that has a holding part, an outline recognition unit (72), an application-trajectory setting unit (78), an adhesive application part, a movement mechanism (50), and a control unit (79). The holding part holds a shoe structural member such that a bottom surface thereof faces up. The outline recognition unit (72) recognizes the outline of the bottom surface of the shoe structural member. The application-trajectory setting unit (78) sets, on the basis of the recognized outline, an application trajectory for the application of an adhesive to the bottom surface of the shoe structural member. The movement mechanism (50) moves the adhesive application part. The control unit (79) controls the movement mechanism (50) such that the adhesive application part moves along the application trajectory and thereby performs control such that the adhesive application part applies adhesive to the bottom surface of the shoe structural member.
