Abstract:
(EN) An ophthalmic endo-illumination system includes a light source producing a light beam, a beam splitter configured to split the light beam into a first beam provided to a fiber port and a second beam coupled to a monitoring fiber, and an alignment system for aligning the monitoring fiber. The alignment system includes a moveable ferrule housing having the monitoring fiber secured therein and a displacement mechanism for displacing housing in a first direction. The displacement mechanism includes a transfer spring coupled to the housing and a screw actuator having a sloped surface contacting a motion transfer ball such that movement of the screw actuator causes the motion transfer ball to move along the sloped surface, the motion transfer ball contacting the transfer spring such that movement of the motion transfer ball along the sloped surface causes a displacement of the transfer spring, thereby displacing the housing in the first direction.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système d'endo-éclairage ophtalmique qui comprend une source lumineuse produisant un faisceau lumineux, un diviseur de faisceau conçu pour diviser le faisceau de lumière en un premier faisceau fourni à un port à fibre et en un second faisceau couplé à une fibre de surveillance, et un système d'alignement destiné à aligner la fibre de surveillance. Le système d'alignement comprend un logement de ferrule mobile à l'intérieur duquel est fixée la fibre de surveillance, ainsi qu'un mécanisme de déplacement destiné à déplacer le logement dans une première direction. Le mécanisme de déplacement comprend un ressort de transfert couplé au logement et un actionneur de vis présentant une surface inclinée entrant en contact avec une bille de transfert de mouvement, de telle sorte que le mouvement de l'actionneur de vis provoque le déplacement de la bille de transfert de mouvement le long de la surface inclinée, la bille de transfert de mouvement entrant en contact avec le ressort de transfert, de telle sorte que le mouvement de la bille de transfert de mouvement le long de la surface inclinée provoque un déplacement du ressort de transfert, déplaçant ainsi le logement dans la première direction.
